I really haven't been following it closely. First off, the correction factor is not exact for FI cars on the dynojet. I've mailed dynojet back in like '97 and grilled the tech there about it... (during the introduction of the UR pulley and the overly inflated claims of HP gains). I wish I could find those e-mails now.. I've got subsequent ones on the topic of negative HP runs, but not the original Q&A. Basically he told me that for turbo cars, the correction values aren't that accurate because they are for NAs... *IF* you dyno an FI car on a dynojet (back then, probably still applies)... you probably shouldn't compare charts that aren't under fairly identical weather/locational conditions. Like comparing charts on Mt. Everest to ones on Daytona Beach... too many variables involved that effect between location and weather conditions to get an accurate correction. In the end, his recommendation was to not be too serious about comparing charts that are from different conditions, and just use the dyno as a ruler against your own tuning progress... taking weather changes into account. BTW, I think the dynojet software will tell you that any comparison between charts where the temp difference is more then 30 degrees F is not accurate.. and this is based on NA corrections.. turbo cars would be worse.
